Based in Donaghadee, Northern Ireland, I have been making instruments for musicians internationally since 1979. All of my instruments are hand crafted in the Cremonese tradition. I set up and repair string instruments for both traditional and classical players, and also offer impartial advice to prospective buyers from beginner through to seasoned professional. I offer a world-class valuation service, internationally recognised and accepted by insurers. My son Rory, himself a classically trained player, has been training with me in the workshop since 2018. His instruments are now also available to purchase.
