I've been making stringed instruments for 25 years now, specialising in the violin family for the last 20 of those. The main focus of my work is to reproduce the elegance and beauty, in both aesthetics and tone, inherent in the best examples of the classical school. I have found, along with many other makers, that the best way to approach this goal has been to try and recreate these instruments as they are now. As well as producing instruments that appeal to the modern perception of what great instruments should look like, the research involved leads to a continual development of my work so that each instrument is a unique piece.
